Lucky Peak State Park
Lucky Peak Reservoir has 12 miles of water and a perimeter shoreline of 42 miles. It is a scenic waterway surrounded by hills, rock cliffs and faces that is used mostly by recreational watercraft. Sailboarders show up early for the best winds. Because of space confinement, sailboats avoid summer weekends but can sail freely during the week and in spring and autumn.
